God Has No Use For A Whole Man
You want God to use you? Then get ready to be broken down first.
Not broke. Broken down. There is a difference. Broke is what happens to a bank account. Broken down is what happens to a man's pride when God means to use him.
Proverbs 12:1 says, "Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish." A man who cannot take a hard truth without getting his feelings hurt is not humble. He is just good at hiding his pride behind a smile.
God does not build His work on a man's strength. He builds it on the leftover rubble of a man's self-sufficiency. Look at Peter. Look at Paul. Broken first. Used after.
A vessel has to be empty before it can be filled. Quit protecting your pride and let Him break what needs breaking.
